2013 Highlights

Team Group Health was awarded the 2013 Women’s Cycling Club of the Year Award!

Road:

We had 300 race starts with 110 top ten finishes, 35 top three podium finishes, and 10 first place podiums. Six women went to State Championships and one participated in National Championship races.

Cyclocross:
We had 200 race starts with 135 top ten finishes, 52 top three podium finishes, and 20 first place podium finishes. Seven women participated in State Championship races and one participated in National Championship races. Four women raced in the UCI Masters Cyclocross World Championships.

Mountain: We had 70 race starts with 45 top ten finishes, 20 top three podium finishes, and 10 first place podium finishes. There were 27 racers that competed in the 24-hour mountain bike race and all finished top 15 in their race categories.

Track: We had 25 race starts with 8 top ten finishes and 2 top three podium finishes.

 

2011 Highlights

On the road we had 43 women participate in over 50 races. Seven women went to State Championships and four participated in National Championship races. Awards included: 2011 Voekl Cup Cat 3 Women’s Race Series: 7th – Katie Poinier Cat 4 Women’s Race Series: 3rd – Anne-Marije Rook 4th – Lisa Coyne Cyclocross: In the 2010-2011 Cyclocross season, we had 27 racers participate in over 20 races. Six women participated in State Championship races and seven races in National Championship races Mountain: On the mountain we had 13 women participate in 17 races including the Round the Clock 24 Hour Relay race. One women raced in a State Championship race.
