Team Thrive is a competitive and successful women’s cycling team that competes in road, mountain, track and Cyclocross. We focus on rider development, community involvement, leadership development, while never forgetting to have fun. Every year, we welcome new and experienced riders who are interested in racing. Recruitment for our team happens in late summer/early fall. During this time, the team will host “Meet the Team” ride. This is a great opportunity to join in a team ride and get to know the team better.
Our “Meet the Team Ride” happened this year on Saturday, September 29th meeting at 9:15 at Leschi Park. If you were not able to attend the ride and you are interested in learning more about the team please contact Gina at email@example.com.
Top Five Reasons to Join THRIVE
Racer benefits: We know that racing can be an expensive sport. To help offset the cost associated to training and racing, and to help athletes reach their potential, we offer a number of racer benefits. These benefits include generous race reimbursement, structured team fall/winter team training, skills clinics, sponsorships, a mentor program, and more. We want more of our racers to gain exposure and participate in important regional races. Beyond regional racing: In 2019, we will support a strong Team Thrive presence at the Sea Otter Classic in Monterey, CA. This weeklong racing event provides opportunities to race road, mountain bike and cyclocross at all levels, as well as an opportunity to see some of the world’s top pros racing in the same disciplines. Team Thrive is proud to be able to develop and support racers throughout their cycling development – our racers should aspire to and have access to travel to races when they are ready. We also will likely host a weekend in Leavenworth for racing Tour de Bloom, and mountain and gravel riding. Lastly, we support riders who qualify for National and World competitions.
Team Thrive has one of most robust racer benefit packages available.
